Recognized as a top law firm in Austria for 2026 in dispute resolution, mediation, litigation, and arbitration

I’m delighted that my law firm has been named one of Austria’s “Top Law Firms in Austria 2026“ by DER STANDARD and Statista in dispute resolution, mediation and litigation as well as arbitration

The survey provides an overview of Austria’s legal sector and evaluates more than 2,500 law firms. The rankings are based on recommendations from lawyers, in-house counsel, and clients surveyed between 1 June and 24 July 2025. That makes this recognition especially meaningful to me: it reflects the trust of those who are familiar with my work.

I’m grateful to my colleagues and clients for their trust and recommendations. This recognition reinforces my commitment to providing clear, practical, and solution-oriented advice, always with your business interests in mind.

Interview with brutkasten: How commercial mediation helps entrepreneurs resolve conflicts

In my interview with Dejan Jovicevic for brutkasten, I discuss the growing importance of commercial mediation for entrepreneurs, startup founders, and shareholders, and how it offers a practical way to resolve conflicts swiftly, efficiently, confidentially, and with legal certainty.

Key takeaways from the interview

  • A predictable alternative to years of litigation: Mediation can be initiated immediately, without filing a lawsuit or waiting for a court date. This allows businesses to manage timelines and costs more effectively.
  • A faster route to an enforceable settlement: Many commercial disputes ultimately end in settlement. Mediation allows the parties to negotiate an agreement in just a few sessions and, where appropriate, formalize it as an enforceable settlement.
  • Combining legal and business expertise: Sustainable solutions require a sound understanding of both corporate law and business realities to ensure they work in practice.
  • Where mediation can help: Founder disputes during periods of growth, the onboarding of new investors, succession in family-owned businesses, and conflicts between business partners.
  • Reaching agreement without losing face: Whether the parties choose to continue working together or agree on an orderly separation, mediation enables them to reach an agreement on equal terms in a confidential, non-public setting.
  • Building conflict prevention into corporate agreements: Mediation clauses provide an agreed framework for addressing disputes early, offering an added layer of security, particularly in cross-border business structures.

Conflicts are an inherent part of business. What causes them to escalate are subjective feelings—particularly at the shareholder and investor level.
